So many lights, shine here.

Melting wax it drips and falls, all over marble countertops
And soon my brothers walk into the room
Their kids are screaming everywhere and putting sugar in their hair
and before we know it the wrapping paper's gone

This light

The colors on the shirts were wrong and the bottom's hanging way too long, but grandma bought them so we'll put them on
We have a drink and the singing starts and everyone forgets the parts
But it doesnt matter we all love this song.

This light

Socks and shoes they line the halls and in other rooms we hear the calls
of loved ones who wish they could be there.
Staring at the neighbors lawn, my mother's gaze just says it all
As I breathe in the cold December air.

This light we hold onto, is everything we've lived and lost, and gone through
And won't you come on home, we're waiting for you, to light this light.
